Reflective Blogging

Page history last edited by Sarah 2 yrs ago

Each week I would like to ask you to blog about your experiences, thoughts, etc. This is called ‘reflective blogging’. We will be dealing with different issues in this course (recycling, energy, water) and comparing them with the States. We will be having conversations online with people we’ve never met. We will be reading about and discussing intercultural competence. The aim of your reflective blogging is to stop for 10 minutes once during the week and look back on what you’ve learned, what you’ve thought, how you’ve changed, what you’d like to do, etc.

You are all now expert bloggers so I don’t need to give you any tips on how to blog. However, I will give you a few dos and don’ts.

Do write a blog post once a week. Don't worry about grammar.
Do write about your impressions, thoughts, learning. Don't worry about spelling.
Do write for at least 10 minutes. Don't worry about vocabulary.
Do write freely. Don't waste time worrying about what to write (be spontaneous).
