La più grande città della Luisiana, lungo il fiume Mississippi e a sud del lago Pontchartrain. Patria del jazz e sede di un famoso Carnevale, è una delle città più visitate negli Stati Uniti. Prima di Katrina il censimento del 2000 riporta una popolazione di 484.684. Dopo Katrina la popolazione è scesa a 187.525 nell’ottobre 2006. Questa cifra è controversa. |

There is no campus. University buildings dispersed throughout the town. Students either live with their families and commute or share apartments with other students during the week and go home on weekends. Some students live in dormitories. |
